writes:Okay, so I'm on the bus and my friend Dylan and my enemy Joe were talkin. So, my friend David something and he's like wow dude why'd you take that to school and I'm like you guys have weed or something sarcasticly and they just looked guilty I'm then like you don't then I turn to David and he just looks at me like they do so I make this huge deal about it. Dylan said I was over reacting so did joe then David stayed out I was like Maryjoana came over and gave me pot and weed less flowers. I never thought Dylan would do that cuz my parents don't smoke or drink non of that stuff soooo It seems wrong to me should I snitch even tho dats not me or keep it to my self or tell my brother or something??

no just leave it, don't snitch! Let life unfold itself. Weed will not kill him. Just at that age you have to be careful you don't get too into it, but its not addictive so no need to worry.
If you smoke in moderation it'll be fine. Its his life let him live. Girls don't hate pot smokers, not unless your a tramp who smokes all the time.
Bit like alcohol gives you that buzz, apart from it doesn't make you act or say stupid stuff like when your drunk on alcohol.

I wouldn't go to a teacher as they will probably get caught anyway soon enough. Anyone stupid enough to bring drugs to school is not clever enough not to get caught out.
I would however talk to your friend and tell him that you really think weed is not cool. Tell him it can cause paranoia and schizophrenia. Tell him that no girl wants to be with a psycho who spends all days staring at lava lamps.
And also just tell him that if he gets caught it's going to really really hurt his chances in life. It's his choice what he does at the end of the day but as his friend you can tell him calmly what you feel because you care about him.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 February 2009): I'd tell me brother. You dont want to be a snitch, and if you tell your parents they will go off the handles. If they were smoking weed, well its their choice, but for them to dry and make you smoke it is why you should be pissed off.
