Should I pursue an online relationship with him? Not sure what to do

A male United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

My problem isn't really directed at one person although there is a person at the minute.

Sometimes, I want to be in a relationship and I see the benefits, but some times I just like being single and don't have the energy to put effort into it.

I've started speaking to a boy who was introduced to me ONLINE from my friend. He is everything I like and fits what I want in a boy very well, but I've never met him in person.

I don't like meeting people in person and although I would like to pursue a relationship with him, I do like the single life and I just don't know what to do about it.

I can't tell whether I want to be alone or with someone or whether or not I have the energy and ability to work on a relationship. What do you think I should do?
