A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Why did she apologize for leaving me to see her friend?

This girl and I were hanging around yesterday and well I knew she was going to leave me to meet up with a friend afterwards. So she left quickly and we both said good bye and well it didn't bother me. Then latter that evening I got a text from her saying "Hey look, I am sorry for leaving early today". I told her it was okay, I understood that she was meeting a friend so I didn't mind. She then told me "yeah ... well (so and so) was not there". Like I understand the apology, but like, she told me this the moment we met up that she was going to a meet up with a friend, and I said I was okay with it and everything. Should I say anything more? Or just (as the beetles would say) "Let it Be"?
