He must be there, that's the only way I'll be happy. My mum doesn't know him because she doesnt know im seeing him, and i have been for a while, i know she wont want me to have someone she doesnt know there especially if she knows he's my boyfriend. Should I do something with just my friends and leave my family out and invite my boyfriend or let my parents meet him and give him the full examination and let them show him my baby photos? Hi,
Just wondering is there an age difference or something keeping you from taking him home? I know that is that case with me, either way since your birthday is so far away why not ask your parents if they will go out for dinner with you and your friend (your boyfriend). When they meet him guage how they feel about him and then let them know that you are in a relationship with him. You have plenty of time for your parents to meet him and before you do this you should also ask him if he is ready to meet your parents, cause he may be uncomfortable with the situation. As for the baby pictures, I'm sure your parents are just joking when they say "when you bring your first boyfriend home I am going to tell him that story when you... " its classic but it never really happens, most parents are quite respectful and welcoming to new people. good luck :)
