writes: i went on holiday about 4 weeks ago and met a guy there who was on the entertainment team, i really liked him and he was such a nice person, about a week after i had come back off holiday he text me and told me he liked me and that he didn't tell me then because i was staying at the hotel and he thought it was inappropriate. i told him i liked him too and admired how he didn't make a move on me. i want to see him again sometime, even though i'm not sure if this will happen since he is tunisian but i like to speak to him on the phone and texting things like that but the only problem is i'm 14 and he's 20, i did't think it was a big deal but everyone i have told about him (with the exception of my best friend) thinks it is wierd and wrong even though we didn't do anything they think i shouldn't even still be in contact with him. is it me in the wrong or are they over-reacting?! and should i consider trying to contact him again when i am a bit older to maybe meet up?? i miss him so much!!

you are in different stages of your lives.
The relationship is not immoral and the age difference is not much.
But the problem is that you are in a very early stage of your life, just beginning to explore life. Though he is young, he is in a different stage of life.
It happened to me. I am involved with an older person, 12 years older, and believe me it sucks.
Wait a little bit. grow up.
But I guess there is no harm in keeping in touch as long as you are not considering an affair.
