writes:im am seeing this boy at first i did not really like him but sfter spending nearly the whole of 3 weeks with him i really like him, he treats me well to but he used to go out with my friend and i used to go out with his freind, he aked made plans with me one night then changed his mind and went went out with his frineds for a drink of which were girls and boys and his x was there, he did not invite me to go i was angry but went home he said he would meet me after he had a drink but did not meet me, i now am upset becuz my x boyfriend wascontrolling, jelous and used to hit me i dont want that to happen to me ever again so im thinking should i not bother with this boy although he has daid sorry and he really likes me i just dont know, im suposed to be stayin at his 2night and he sayd hes guns get on his knees and say sori should i go please help, - 19 stressed.  A few things really. Make sure if he does apologise he makes it a good one. Dont let him off with it too easy. He should have done the decent thing and called you, it would have taken all of 2 minutes to explain.
As for inviting you, perhaps he was uncomfortable inviting you considering that you had gone out with his mate. Maybe he didnt want to make too big a thing about going out with his mates ex. It could be a little uncomfortable, so maybe wanted to protect you in that respect!
