Should I just let it go or give him a hint?

Question - (9 August 2011) 2 Answers - (Newest, 9 August 2011)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello! So, I’ve been interested in this guy for a couple of months now pretty much since we’ve been working together and we became pretty good friends. I got a new job about a month ago, and as soon as I ended my first job he asked me out. A few days later I went over to his place and we made out for a little while, but after that a week went by without hearing anything and then we went out again. Since then I’ve barely heard from him. I know he’s been having some family stuff in the past couple weeks, so I’ve been giving him some space, but things were a little sparse before. Should I just let it go or give him a hint? My biggest fear is becoming that weird clingy-type girl. If you could help me out I really appreciate it. Thanks so much!
