writes:I need serious advise people [i am 18]. I have liked this kid ever since i started talking to him three years ago. But the problem is i dated his cousin over a year ago. However, i still like him and i know he likes/liked me too. We have so much in common and he does the most adorable things that make me smile. Like a week ago, i went to a party with him and his family. Im really close to them and throughout the party my crush n i danced together. He would look at me wit that glint in his eye and he wouldnt stop staring at me. Or wen we danced together and he looked down at me, i noticed he would get nervous. I could go on about the many times we hanged out together and had a truly romantic time. Like one time we went to the city together and he bought us a sundae to share and how he told me to lean on his shoulder wen we were in the train. He truly is an awesome person and i guess i am in love wit him. We never kissed thou or held hands, idn why. But he always tries to get near me,even now that he has a gf. I think that by datin his cousin i was off limits for him in a way. But now thats not the problem. He has been datin a grl for over a month now n even wen he started datin her he asked me to go hang out at the city. Anyways, the truth of the matter is he really likes this other girl. But in a way i can't help but think that he still has feelings for me. I mean he is so sweet to me and i kno that the day of the party bothered him in a way b/c he couldnt help but flirt wit me. I kno he likes me...i trust my intuition. But idn wat to do, should i try to fight him back even thou he never really was mine in the first place. And his cousin is talkin to me again n idn if i should try to go out wit him again. I mean i really like my crush n by datin his cousin again would prevent me from ever bein wit him. Still i am so crushed that he has a gf that i'll date anyone to try to move on even though i feel like ill always like him. IDN...wat should i do...its jus so much. But guys wat can i do...should i jus continue bein friends wit him and see if somethin happens in the future...idn. Any advice...srry if i bore u...plz Help. =] Thanx.

Just because you dated his cousin doesn't mean that he is off limits!
But he has a girlfriend now.. and I think that if he didn't like his girlfriend so much, he'd hint this fact to you. Also, he wouldn't have felt uneasy when he was flirting with you at the party..
I think you should leave him be, and not try to get with him.. Look for another. As for the cousin.. If you really believe that if you go with him again it would prevent you from ever being with this guy, then perhaps you shouldn't be with him either. You never know how his relationship will turn out (he's only been with her for a month..) then perhaps you can be with him.
