A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

hello, i'm new to this but i just don't know what to do about my problem? Me and this boy have been basically on and off for about 3 years. I like him so much we were going out but we agreed to stop going out because we both thought we were better friends. We were still kissing after that but we had a falling out after i did something out of jealously with him with other girls. But then he wanted to make up with me so we started speaking again when we made up he was saying that he realised he still liked me and stuff like that. Then me and him got together and we were just kissing and that was kinda on and off we're basically the same person. I just don't know what to do we've just basically started getting close again and i don't wanna ruin things by saying that i like him again which i know for a fact he probably knows i do. Sorry this is such a long question but does anyone know what I could do. Should i try and get over him ? how could i do that, im so confused . HELP !

A reader, anonymous, writes (21 October 2008):

Hey girl,

I don't really know the whole situation that is going on. But if he said he likes you and you said you guys are close then I am assuming he feels the same way about you as you do him. I think that you shouldn't let it bother you so much. Just a word of advice NEVER assume you know what a guy is thinking because they sometimes aren't thinking the same thing you are. Just let yourself be happy if you know you're not truely happy with him then just let him go. If he just gives you headaches or makes you feel bad about yourself just drop him. There will be other guys trust me.

Good Luck!

Hope I helped alil.
