We were really good friends but afterwards she's been ignoring me. i'm attendin a party next week, i don't know how to dance, i'm friends with few girls so how do i show that girl i don't need her. I know 100% she'd expect me to talk to her, my friends tell me to ignore her so she comes to me. Will that work? Reply to this Question Share |

No, don't ignore her, that will send her the message that you are angry with her and really DO care about her. If you're trying to show her you don't need her, do not ignore her. Wave politely from across the room, with a small, friendly smile, not a huge grin, and then do not cross the room to go talk to her. You've acknowledged her, you've been polite from a distance, you cannot be accused of still carrying a torch for her.
Keep this in mind, if you're trying to convey the message that this rejection was no big deal to you: the opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. So cultivate an air of indifference towards her, if that will make you feel better.
Hope this helps; all the best.
