writes:my girlfriend have been together for 9 months. she wants to move out of her parents house and move in with her friend and her friends boyfriend another 30 mins away (making her living an hour away after the move). we both consider this to be a very serious relationship. would it be selfish of me or wrong to propose an ultimatum that we get a place together and she forgets about moving in with her friend and boyfriend? Why would you get all serious and threatening about her moving in with you or losing you?
Ask her to move in and if she is ready for that then Yey for you.
If she is not ready and wants to live separately for a while then it shouldn't be a problem. Why would that be such a problem for you that you would threaten her with breaking up or what ever.
