writes: I'm caught in a real dilemma..when i first entered college it was as if I suddenly became alone..It was at this time that a person came up to support me so much that he came all the way from just a classmate to the best friend I ever had..1 week ago,he proposed..in spite of my constant denials to my conscience I know I love him..but I'm not confident about starting an affair..further what I want right now is to concentrate on my studies..i want him in my life forever and I wish to give an yes by the time we complete our graduation..but I am afraid of losing him by that time..what answer should I give him..?

If you do plan to marry him one day then tell him that you love him but you want to be out of school and stable in life before getting married. I don't know if long term engagement appeals to you but that is also a possibility. You say yes now on that and mutually decide to wait till school is finished before getting married. It shows commitment without the formalality of it all which can be very difficult while busy with studying.
