I've been dating my bf for 3 months we get along great. I have said hello/seen his mom several times on skype, since she lives overseas. For Christmas my bf will be going to see her, should I buy her Christmas gift?? Would this be a nice detail or weired since we have never met in person?

And if so what should I get her, I was thinking perfume??

Thanks

When you don't know someone, and really haven't met them; giving a gift is just is a little too much.

You can send her a fancy greeting card with a nice message; or a unique tree ornament.

I think it's a little too early; otherwise, it's very nice thought. Give it 1-2 years before involving mom.

olderthandirt agony auntI wouldn't give her a gift unless I was close to her and knew her very well,i.e., not via skype or email. espcially not something that she may be deathly alergic to like perfume. Wait until you've met her and known her for severl years.

Sageoldguy1465 agony auntWhile "the thought" is charming (that you would like to make a gift to his Mother)..... I think it is premature in the time of your budding relationship...

Merry Christmas...

I think it is a nice thought and perfume would be good, something simple but thoughtful.
