Should I feed neighbor's baby, I am lactating??

hello reaers

i am lactating, so my neighbours left their baby to me to look after for 4 hours,bcos they were going for a movie, she told me to feed if needed, my neighbour knew i am producing milk, i would like to know whether i can feed my breas milk or not. next time. i just gave boiled milk but child didnt drink. but i managed to tell them any how i didnt feed the baby,but they felt very bad not feeding the baby, so nextr time can i feed the baby,even i am not pregnent with lactated milk,i havent done any medicinal for lactating

please help

thank you for Ur suggestions, i consulted a physician she has told me not to feed, bcos i have some infections. so i should not feed neighbors child, anty ways thank you all of u.

Honeypie agony auntYour neighbor should PROVIDE you with formula or pre-pumped breatmilk for you to feed the child.

But, I guess it is up to you and the parents of the child.

Breast milk changes with time to adapt to the baby's growing needs. Unless you are going to be breast feeding this baby all the time, it's not a good idea because one of you will be giving it unsuitable milk.

It's not a job to be shared!

loraemoon agony aunti would say no!to be honest its not right its not your baby if you look after the baby make sure they leave feeds for the child, if you was to feed the child with your milk they may get very offended

I don't know if this question is for real or not, but if it is, NO, of course you should not breastfeed your neighbor's baby without their knowing.

If they've asked you to, you all three need to go to the doctor to discuss the situation and make sure there are no safety issues (HIV, ect)

Wet nursing has been around for centuries but it has to be done safely.
