Should I end the cute flirting when I know we'll be going separate ways soon?

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I really like a guy and I know neither one of us are going to act on our feelings because summer is going to come to an end and we're going to have to go our separate ways to different colleges in different states soon. It is really hard though because when we laugh, there's mutual eye contact that I cannot break and I always have a great time with him. Should I avoid the cute flirting knowing things probably won't end up working? At least not now.
