We have been together for 8yrs but have been long distance for the last three years. My last visit was about a month ago and he told me he is uncertain about us getting married. According to him, "i dont have the conviction yet, we need to spend more time knowing each other".we have been talking about getting married for sometime now and i wasnt really happy with what he said.My friends advised me against going to visit him. They said if he is really interested he should come to me instead.Should i cancel my trip? Thanks

Wow, after that amount of time, you'd think someone would know something. I would have a few more talks before deciding for sure whether to go or not. See what your sense is and if you are not getting a good vibe, cancel the trip!
