Mother's Day is just around the corner. But she's not my Mother. So, am I obligated to get her something, a plant maybe? And she hasn't been feeling well these past few days.:( Reply to this Question Share |

I would give her flowers the day before! And don't buy her anything better than what your boyfriend is getting her. Alternativly why don't you chip in to whatever your boyfriend is buying and put your name on the card?x

You aren't obligated to send a lot of money on her, but a little something would be nice.
Cards can be a little intimate, especially if you two aren't super close. I would instead go to one of the online floral services and have a small, inexpensive bouquet delivered to her. See if your BF will chip in and put his name on the card as well.
Or, if you're going to see her that day, or the day before, just bring her a nice spring bouquet of flowers, give her a hug and say Happy Mother's Day to her. That's all you need to do really.
