Who believes in psycics/mediums. The first prediction came true, the 2nd reading said the same as the first. Should I believe in the second reading?

A female reader, stina United States +, writes (24 June 2007):

stina agony aunt"now she maintains that it is still going to happen. What do you think?" ...why don't you ask your soulmate instead of the medium? (That might sound sarcastic, but it's not meant to be!)

Again, while psychics might be interesting and entertaining, I personally believe that things are going to happen regardless of what they say. Like your soulmate would have moved regardless of what this medium said.

Also, what psychics tell you can influence how you live your life. For example, did you think this person was your soulmate before she told you he was? If yes, did you mention to her something about him that would lead her to tell you he'd be moving? Sometimes people can take guesses at what might happen in the future. Maybe she knew what a strong bond the both of you had and could tell his personality and ultimately told you that he would be moving to your area based on those ideas/facts.

Are you familiar with the term "cold reading?" You might want to read up on it to make sure you aren't being suckered into a scam. Here is a link to the wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_reading It's always best to do research when it comes to things like this. You don't want to listen to what this person is saying and get your hopes up when in the end it might not come true. (Plus it would save you time, money and the embarassment/anger of being scammed if that's what is going on.) ^_^

This is verified as being by the original poster of the question

Thank you for your insight. The reader is an extremely wellknown south african medium and she said my soulmate is moving to the place where I live, which he called and told me the very next day and now she maintains that it is still going to happen. What do you think? I am at a loss!

A female reader, stina United States +, writes (22 June 2007):

stina agony auntHi there Anonymous,

I really don't feel like any psychic has any merit. Besides, what are you looking to find out? Everthing that has happened has already happened. Everything that will happen is going to happen regardless of what anyone says. I am also one who believes that *you* are the one who knows yourself best. If you have a gut feeling or have intuition about something personal in your life, *that* is what you should pay attention to. Not what a stranger says, whether that person be a psychic or just masquerading as one.

So my answer to your question is go with what *you* feel. Don't waste your precious time or money on something that is not certain. Like I said, what happened happened, what is going to happen will happen.

Take care.

flower girl agony auntGo with your heart on this one, so do and some don't i personally do as i have had a reading done before i told them nothing about myself what so ever and they came out with stuff they could have never known and if you have had the same thing said twice then thats a good sign( or maybe not depending on what they have said).

Take care.xx.
