 Well if you are 16 he would 19, nothing wrong with that, although take it slow, the relationship can only develop at YOUR pace as you are the youngest and still growing up. If he respects that then by all means, go out with him. Does he have any hobbies? Try find something that suits his hobbies that he can use. Books, tools, CD, something like that. Something physical that will be around but not something like an ornament that has no practical value.Don't spend to much money, no iPod's or a new graphics card, he would LOVE that, but it simply be too much.

What I would recommend is just talk to him about what he likes. Find out what his favorite candy or movie is. If you are able to affored it you might just buy him some candy and take him to the movies. Especially if this is a somewhat new relationship you don't want to move to fast. Just have fun with him. When you get further in the relationship than you can think about getting more expensive gifts for him.
