Should I be with a girl who lies all the time or drown in this feeling of loniness...?

Question - (7 May 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 7 May 2007)
A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I broke up with my girlfriend in October as I felt I wasn't being treated right. She only wanted to see me when it suited her and was too flirty with others. We meet now and again as we have been close all our lives. After I spend time with her (nothing sexual) I feel a huge sense of lonliness. I have tried going after other girls but with no luck. She has asked if I'd move in with her in September and I'm wondering if I should be with a girl who lies all the time or drown in this feeling of loniness...

A reader, anonymous, writes (7 May 2007):

Those aren't your only options. I don't think anyone should be with anyone for the sake of not being lonely. You can still be with someone and still experience lonliness.

If you cannot trust her, there is no point in moving in with her. The relationship is doomed as trust is the cornerstone of all relationships.

Have you thought to seek counselling to express your feelings and to get insight as to why you feel why you do, how do cope with them, and how to get a healthier perspective about life and yourself? Please do so.

I think that is the best place to start as well as don't move in. That will just bring more heartache and upheaval.

Best Wishes.
