 How long is it "a while ago " ? If she realized she has feelings for you and just needs,say, 2 or 3 weeks to think it over and make her final decision,fine.If she has been stringing you along for months....then you are her "just in case ". Her plan B if ever there's a glitch with plan A.

 Have you tried talking to her, you should tell her what you feel and ask her what are her feelings for you. She can love you as a friend but you re inlove with her so you might want to be completely honest with her and let her know extactly how you feel for her.
