A female Croatia age 30-35, *yra Anna writes:

New Year`s coming soon and my boyfriend and I will be together on one of the party in my friends house. We`re dating about 2 months and now we want to be a little more intimate. I`m not going to sleep with him cause I`m not ready for that yet but we were thinking on something like hand and blow job, fingering and so on.

I wonder, should I ask him to wear a condom cause I`m really afraid of getting pregnant. Is this ridiculous to tell him that he needs to put condom on? I`ll be peaceful in that case, but I just want to know if there`s a possibility to stay pregnant if his sperm only come close to my intimate part of the body?

A female reader, person12345 United States +, writes (29 December 2009):

person12345 agony auntThe only reason for him to wear a condom is if you're worried about STDs. It's safer in that sense for him to wear a condom. So if you're worried about STDs, then he should wear a condom ONLY for the blowjob. Though it is difficult to catch an STD through oral sex and the vast majority of people do not use a condom. Quick question for you though, why give him oral sex if he doesn't reciprocate?

A handjob or fingering does not require a condom. However, there is absolutely no way for you get pregnant from any of these activities unless he ejaculates into your vagina. If you were naked and he ejaculated right around the vagina there is a very slight chance. However, if you want to give him a handjob or have him finger you, protection is not necessary. I do recommend having a tissue or towel nearby though, to clean up after the handjob.
