Should I ask him if he can be a little more affectionate?

Question - (24 April 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 25 April 2010)
A female United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Hello ok so for two years I've been in love with this guy but we couldn't date because of a bunch of obstacles in the way. But now after 2 long years of not being with him we are now together he have been for a whole week now. And I love him but he doesnt know that, so i have always known that he was not the type of guy to talk a lot like say "you look beautiful" or "you're the best girlfriend ever" but either way I love him. But sometimes I get a little sad that he's not like that. What should I do? Should I ask him if he can be a little more affectionate? Or what? Thanks

Its not a bad thing to love the feeling of being loved =]

You boyfriend probably thinks these things but just doesnt know how to say it

Why not give him a little nudge?

...'Do you think I look beautiful?'
