writes:My boyfriend's sister is pregnant at 17, and it's with one of his friends - drunken one night stand with a consequence.The thing I am finding weird is that the father of the baby is almsot identical to my boyfriend - her brother! Even his family mix them up sometimes in photos and from a slight distance.Am I wrong to find this a bit odd??

reader, anonymous, writes (21 August 2009): It might be odd that they so closely resemble each other, but I think people are attracted to someone that they are related to, we sort of have it imprinted on our brains to be attracted to people who remind us of our caregivers when we were dependent on them for our very lives....her brother may also resemble her Mother or Father....so no I don't think it is all that strange.

 no i find it quite odd. I once went out with a boy whose sister was same height same weight and had the same style of dress as me we liked the same music and had a very similar personality. All thought facially i didn't look like his sister we were so alike in personality one day his mother was giving me a lift home from a festival and took me to were his sister worked turned around and went oh your not *georgi your kitty* lol it creeped me out so much i dumped him lol Genetics says you are attrated to a partner that looks like you, maybe if she bares some resemblence to her brother then thats why lol
