We had been doing the long distance thing for while until she broke it off. When I was back in town visiting i saw her, and she told me that I was a great bf and she still loves me, but right now she is enjoying living the single lifestyle. From experience I know the single life can be fun, but gets old after a while. Does this sound like she just wants some space and eventually wants to come back? Keep in mind that she was honest about it when she could have lived a single lifestyle behind my back while I was away.

Hi I think the fact that she was openly honest could suggest that she does just need some breathing space. But if she is not willing to put a timescale on how long she needs then maybe you are wasting your time. You cant wait forever and she needs to understand that. You definitely need to avoid getting false hopes and waiting six months for her only for her to say she is not interested or end up with another guy! But she did say you are a great boyfriend so just talk to her and see, maybe she just wants to make the relationship more casual or is scared of getting too serious? Hope it helps, but this is really for you to discuss with her!
