The problem is that she frequently tells me about how cute other boys are that she's met and in spite of myself i find myself feeling jealous. I haven't yet asked her out cos i first want to know whether she has any feelings for me but considering that she talks so much about other guys, my chances aren't looking too good are they? Cos i figured that if she did have a thing for me, she wouldn't be thinking about other guys while talking to me, would she?

Just one more question though: If a girl likes a boy, can't she make the initial move to ask him out? Is it always the boy's responsibility to initiate the relationship? I've always seen the guy asking the girl out scenario but never seen it happening the other way around. Is there any particular reason for this?

I think she's saying these things to get a reaction out of you, and to see how you feel about her!
Ask her out! the worst that can happen is she'll say no. Then you'll know and be able to move on :-)
Good Luck!

She might be saying this to do exactly that- make you jealous. Maybe what she is trying to say is that she wants you to ask her out, to get in there before she goes for someone else. Just ask her, you've nothing to lose! good luck sweety x x
