She says he cheated, he says he didn't. They both lie, so who do I believe?

A female South Africa age 30-35, anonymous writes:

He allegedly cheated, should I give him another chance???

I'm currently in a long-distance relationship, we have been together for almost to years and we've been through a lot together(my boyfriend's dad died unexpectedly). The thing is that even though we have the best time when we are together we happen to fight when we are appart.

Not long ago a girl who lives in the same city as he does contacted me and told me that he cheated on me with her, only once... I was totally heartbroken. When I confronted him he told me that there is nothing going on and that there never was, she only tried to cause trouble- something she did in his previous relationship as well. The only reason why I doubt him is that one day she came to his house (according to him uninvited)and even though they weren't alone, how do I know that he didn't invite her?

I really love him and has broken up with him, he keeps calling me everyday trying to tell me that it's not true, but how do I know who to believe? As they both have a motive to lie, she could break us up and have him all to herself and he could lie because he cheated and doesn't want to lose me.

Please help, any advice are welcome!
