Ever since that, I've been worried about it and regretting saying that, because I don't want to be committed at the moment and I don't want to settle down with just one person. She is amazing but she wants to wait to be together, which is frustrating as well because she wants to wait for a few months, which has put me off. I don't want to lead her on because I don't think it's what I want at the moment, I've got exams to think about, but I will hate having to break up with her as this is what I should want. I need your advice, should I stay with this or should I end it? Reply to this Question Share |

groarker11 is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI'd consider commitment to be devoted to one person alone and in this case even though we aren't going out, I can't involve myself with other girls (romantically). I know it sounds stupid about wanting to be with a girl but not to be committed but what I mean is I don't want to wait because I have liked her for a while now, but I'm not sure if I still do so I don't want to lead her on until she's ready to go out and then disappoint her plus it means I'm tied down with one person, even though we aren't going out and that's not appealing

She wants to wait to actually go out.
I don't want to wait because I've liked her for a while but mostly because that means a commitment

Do whatever you want, and don't be afraid to tell her the truth. Not everyone is perfect for everyone else.
