writes:hi, this is new to new and I'm here to find help with my situation. I recently met this girl who is prefect in every way, we have so much in common that it's scary. We both felt the same way about each other.(head over hills). Yesterday she text me that she talked to her friend and now she needs space to find out if she is ready for another relationship. She recently got divorced from some "jerk" she says and she has a kid with him. So my question is: what do I do to keep her around? I'm really in love with her, and I wouldn't be on here if I didn't! thanks in advance for any advice !! ;)

reader, anonymous, writes (7 March 2009): Best bet... Give her her space, however, I would not sit around waiting on her. Make sure she knows that your there if she needs her, but clarify that you are or are not seeing other people. Girls are famous for saying I need space and in a week or two they have gone back with an ex... Trust yourself, but don't let your heart take over.... Good luck... KL
