Good news! You don't HAVE to ask her. In fact, it can be embarrassing and difficult for you both to try to tackle that particular question straight off the bat. So don't.If she does like you, it'll be evident in the way she talks to you, looks you in the eye and acts around you... and that's all the confirmation you really need. So, rather than say "Hi, I'm Billy-Bob and I really like you", say something along the lines of "Would you like to get a coffee with me this afternoon? I'd like to get your opinion of this book I've been assigned and I've heard you're really good with literature."You see? You don't have to do everything at point-blank range. You can make it a slightly-flattering request for her company about something trivial and see what develops. Not only that, but it's sort of like feeling her out about dating, without the pressure. Again, if she likes you, it'll be clear when she says "That sounds like fun". And if she doesn't feel the same way as you, you don't lose face, because she can say "Oh, sorry. I really can't today" without disappointing you too much.Don't worry. It isn't that hard! You'll be fine!
