Sadly life is never simple and it turned out she has a boyfriend. The thing is i can't give up on her because she's my ideal girl. We get along great and i'm confident that i would have a chance if she was single. The advice i'm likely to get is to move on but the fact she rarely sees her boyfriend spurs me on, i'm hopeful something can happen. Do i keep waiting for her or do i admit defeat? Advice required!!!

Your right the advice you are likely to get here would be to move on, and 99 times out of 100 that is what i would say as she has a boyfriend.
You say she rarely see's her boyfriend, why is this? Are they on the verge of splitting up?. Does he work away?.
What ever the reason i would not get involved with their relationship and be the cause of their breaking up, but you could just subtly express your interest then thats it leave it after that, don't persue it any further than this.
Good luck
