writes: I'm 15 and I have been going out with this girl for a a few weeks now, but we never get really close and kiss like other people of my age do, and I know she is shy about stuff like that, and so am I in ways, how do I get close to her without making the situation even more tense and uncomfortable? And now we are going through a rough patch where we are both confused about whether we should even be with each other, I think if I went straight up to her and kissed her she might realise that I really want to be with her, but will it seem as if I am making an attempt to hold onto a relationship that is failing?

 Just take it slow, it may be uncomfortable but you should talk about it first. Clarify you feelings and ask her to express hers before making a move.
It will be more regretable to do nothing about it tough.
