writes:I am so confused over a statement my wife made to me today telling me basically she is cutting me off from sex until I get my teeth fixed. My teeth are not that bad, I have no oral issues other then crooked teeth. I feel like walking out as this woman is 75 pounds over weight and does nothing to help herself. She has become a lazy slob and believe me, I have been losing interest in her sexually too. I feel sick over this statement being that I never treated her bad, called her fat or did anything to have words like that come out of her ugly mouth. Do you think it's now appropriate for me to tell her to get off her fat lazy ass and lose some weight? Does anyone think this is abusive behaviour? reader, anonymous, writes (11 August 2007): you obviously don't love her, calling her a fat ass & ugly. you both have no respect for eachother & if you can't accept eachother the way you are then maybe a split is best. her making fun of your teeth may just be a way to cut off sex from you, because they didn't bother her before. a lot of women don't want sex after they've been with their partner for a long time, and if the relationship is suffering that makes her want it even less. you can talk with her & try figuring out what the real issue is, maybe she wants to split too. calling her a fat ass isn't going to produce any results though.
