writes: Dear Cupid, Last month I went to a careers interview and I sat next to this girl in a waiting room. Rather then just keeping quiet I started talking to her and I thought she was a nice person and got her name and what subjects she takes at school etc. Now one month on, my best mate is going out with a girl and I recently found out that his girlfriend goes to the same school as that girl I talked to in the waiting room. I got my mate's girlfriend to see if she remembered me and she did. Anyway I want to get to know this girl more but she hasn't got a mobile or msn so how can I get to know her more? And how can I get into a relationship with her? Help please. Thanks

Go out for a quiet drink! Make conversation, about random stuff, have a laugh and just generally have a nice time! It's a bit daunting at first but once you get to know this girl things will become easier :) How do you think the last generation got to know each other?! Bets of luck xxxx

 why do you need a mobile and msn to get to know this girl? i know it makes it easier and less akward but i personally find that when a guy talks to you face to face its far more appealing and shows that your very instrested in getting to know that person and plus emails and txt messaging does not show body language and tone of voice and they can often be misinterpreted. why not arrange to go to the movies you could do this with the help of your friend,maybe going on a double date?, talk to her and try find out her intrests, abit of flirting also does'nt hurt when trying to get close to someone,maybe just ask her out for a drink of coffee or something,maybe when you get closer tell her she has beatiful eyes or a great smile girls always love that flattering stuff.good luck.
