writes:I was seeing this girl for several months although about 3 of those we were apart for summer brake as we are both at uni, but live in different towns. About a month ago she texted me sayin that she just wanted to be friends to which I found out she still had feelings for her ex. The problem is she says she still has feelings for me as well and apparently as much as her ex who she was together with for almost 4 years. We are friends at the moment, but I do still really like her and cant help wondering if we could get back together cause of her feelings for me. Do I ask her how she feels and see if she would perhaps start seeing me once she is over her ex or do I try and forget about it?.

 Do you really want to continue an emotional involvment with someone that cares so little about your feelings? If you know that she is interested in someone else, maybe you should get out there and find your own someone else. Waiting around to see if someone will like you again after they get over someone else, is not a vary healthy way to be. Let her have her feelings but let her do it with out you.
