SHE asked ME out. She says she likes me, but not in a "heart fluttering" way.

Question - (5 December 2012) 2 Answers - (Newest, 6 December 2012)
A male United States age 26-29, anonymous writes:

A girl I really liked asked me out about a week ago, I was so thrilled when it happened. We've tried planning a couple dates, but she's just so busy with her job, tennis, and school. a few days ago, she told me that she still sees as a friend even though she did like me a few months ago before her boyfriend broke up with her. She says she's thrilled when she sees me, but it wasn't heart fluttering or the same as a few months ago. I don't know how to deal with this, considering it's my first real relationship.

Sounds to me like she's just toying with your emotions. She told you once before that she likes you, but because she was already with a guy you obviously knew that nothing could become of it. Now that she's single she asked you out but now she says she only sees you as a friend?

Mate, she's what's known as a "B*tch", and this isn't a serious relationship either.

No offence kid but this doesnt seem like much of a relationship to me. Your best bet is to just move on stay friends with her if you like but find another girl. Your still young go out and enjoy youself dont get hung up about some girl theres always more and better girls to go for.
