writes:So there is this girl I told I liked on facebook (i know it was stupid...)so she said she was flattered and she told me that she doesnt like me that wayever since then, i noticed she looks at me and when i catch her looking, she looks awayi figured that she just wanted to check if i was looking at her, i am guessing she felt awkwardbut i noticed some things 1. If lets say I meet her at the library, with her friend, she wont talk to me, but if i talk to her she answers; if i talk to her friend she joins in 2. many times after school, she used to take my friend's lock and try to figure out his combination, and when i get mad and tell my friend to hurry up, she gives it back 3. when i offer help, she usually takes it,4. if lets say she needs help, she will ask my friend, (even though she knows i have the question, while my friend is copying off me ) so usually my friend tells her to ask me. she never asks me, so i just tell her the answer. she barely thanks me 5. when i ask for something, lets say a pen, paper w/e she gives it to me 6. sometimes when i ask her for something, she says maybe and 2mins later she gives it to me7. she acts all hyper around people, but around me, she acts all quiet8. sometimes when passing each other down the hall, she looks at me right in the eye and we hold the stare9. when my friend is talking to me and i see her coming towards us, she always, and i mean always says hi to them and has a long convo, but never to me. But she looks right at me, before she says anything10. she usually tells her friend (when around me) "i dont have have a ticket to go home, or i dont have a paper" i always give it to her and says thanks (but this is only when my friends are around)11. i think ( not sure) i heard my name once when she and the friends were talking, and i remember she was all red and laughing and covering her face12. couple days ago i wished her happy birthday 2 days early, cause her b-day was in the weekends and i wanted to wish her.... she just looked at me and kept walking13. she seems to talk to me normally over facebook like she once asked me what im really good at and when i tell her, she would tell what she is awful at ( not her talents) 14. i remember i guessed her birthday on facebook and she was all "how do u know and stuff" in class we were playing a game and randomly someone asked for my b-day and then asked her for hersi realized that none of her friends know about her b-day i told her i liked her like 6months ago so it all comes down to two questions 1. Does she like me?2. If she does, how do I ask her out? (btw i dont really have money to take her to a movie or something, cause my dad doesnt give me money anymore to spend, other than lunch and stuff)( so where should i take her?)thank you a lot to whoever took the time to read this i really appreciate itP.S. we are both 16

 Don't see no signs of interest or attration. Your a kind person and she likes you, but there is no romantic interaction here. Sorry. She sounds like she is frightened of hurting your feelings because you've been so nice to her.

 Sorry honey but she's not into you. From all the reasons you listed, I see no interest on her side. Sometimes she doesn't even acknowledge you or is even courteous to you. You're overanalyzing everything that she does or says...girls at 16 are going to be honest and tell you if they like you are not...So stop looking for hidden signals. There's no sign that says she likes you. Of course when you offer help people are going to take it, but when she comes up between a conversation between you and your friend she interjects and doesn't even speak to you. Let this crush go my dear. Find a girl that likes you, don't continue to like one that doesn't. She meant what she said.
