I think that shaven pubes are most unpleasant. Even "narrowed" ones. Whilst not a prude in any way I beleive shaving the shape of your pubes turns your pubic area into a display area, not a place for intimacy and fun. I must admit I find hair on legs and underarms to be a bit stimulaing too ... maybe I am a bit odd too?Anyway, from a visual or tactile point of view you've got your shaver mates beaten hands down. Imagine them looking like a plucked turkey and you'll know what I mean!

reader, anonymous, writes (22 June 2007): i think it's just your personal preference. i don't shave mainly because i did that once and it itched like hell. but waxing is painful, and i'm not tryind to impress anyone, if you know what i mean. so i keep it all natural.

But if you ever want to try something new, I'll just say, dont go completly bold; its nice to have a little bit of hair. maybe get a bikini wax, and trim.Take care. :]

 Don't know, it's not something that comes up in many conversations among women. I personally do not like mine to be that bushy and thick. So I trim it on the sides and cut down on the thickness of it as well so it's not pooching out of my panties as you have described. Most men probably don't care, but keep this in mind, when a guy wants to go down on you, no one wants to wade through a mouthful of hair to get there. Also, if it's any indication of men's preferences, most Playboy models and other gals so famous in men's magazines, have theirs trimmed consideralbly or non-existent. Otherwise, it's just personal preference.

 Oh thats down to personal choice some like it others don't but if you decide to go with get rid then i would advise you not to shave because the regrowth is much more harsh, find yourself a good beautician and get it waxed.
Oh i have heard people say that going completly bold feels weird as you feel like a child again.
