When our daughter asked us we were uncomfortable with the thought but also didn't want them doing it in risky places. So we set some rules to make ourselves more comfortable - eg, we aren't in the house and aren't due back soon.

My boyfriend and I have been having sex for a while; I'm on the pill and we do use condoms. And my mum also knows about it; we have a close relationship.
I'm not sure exactly what I'm going to do yet. Despite my mum and I having a close relationship, the thought of telling her is very embarassing. But I assume she would guess that we'd want to do it on his birthday. I've decided that I'm going to either a) Ask her how she feels about it or b) Just go ahead, be quiet, and prepare myself for the potential consequences. I'm not entirely set on which yet though. Any more advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

 if you have a finished basement go down there and play pool, buy uno cards, anything to have an exscuse to be away from your parents and without them in the room... Make sure to use a condom. keep both of your pants on, try wearinf short or something same with him have him weat basket ball shorts or "gym shorts" easy up and easy to get down and also if they do come you dont hear the zipper. when you wear shorts you dont even have to take them off. pull one side of the leg opening over and slide his dick in through there. it's ver effective. easiest way is to sit on a table and have him stand and try the position because you can say your jsut "talking" or hanging out. instead of being on the ground of soething and wasting time to get up and pull your pants up and stuff.. hope i helped! anymore questions just ask.. =) good luck

reader, anonymous, writes (15 March 2010): You need to be prepared to deal with her finding out. As your Mum, she's going to be worried for your well being. Be adult about it, stay calm and insure her that you're educated about sex and taking precautions. (Then DO that!)
If she makes a fuss (they usually do, at least in my day) be prepared to honor her demands... it's her home, you're a minor and you may have to simply deal with it. With any luck you two have a good relationship and can negotiate something.

 You can wait till she goes to bed or if your door locks that would work too. Otherwise you risk her randomly walking in. Just try not to be too loud and watch out for how much noise the bed makes (blankets on the floor would solve that problem).
Be safe and have fun, you are old enough and your mom probably knows that its happening she just doesn't want to hear it.
