The anonymous person below doesn't seem to know much about the pill. The withrawal bleed will happen whether or not you are pregnant because it' a withdrawal from the hormones from the pill. NOT a normal period. A normal period would probably mean you are not pregnant (although it's not impossible to have a period while pregnant, I am and I had one). But the withdrawal bleed doesn't mean much.Oh and implantation of the fertilised egg takes place roughly 3-4 days after sex. Just to clear that up.I don't want you getting false information from people who don't know what they're talking about. The only thing you can do is stop taking your pill and wait to see what happens with your next real period (whether it arrives or not, whether it seems different etc). And obviously decide whether it's necessary to do a test. (It's too early to do one yet, they usually become accurate a few days before your period is due).Good luck!

You bled because you stopped taking your pill. It wasn't a real period. It was a withdrawal bleed that you're supposed to have every three weeks when you stop.Because you missed pills there is a possibility that you could be pregnant. Just because you had a withdrawal bleed doesn't mean you're not.You could have gotten the morning after pill after you had unprotected sex (you're gonna need to keep condoms on you incase this happens again - and use them!), but it might be too late for that anyway. It's only effective in the 72 hours after sex. The last 24 hours being the least effective - the first 48 being the most. The only thing you can do it wait. Most doctors advise that if you think you might be pregnant then you must stop taking your contraceptive pill until you're sure you're not. Not only can it have a negative effect on a potential baby, but also masks when you're having or not having a 'real' period. So you can't tell if you're actually missing one.If you start getting symptoms (they usually don't start until around 1 month), or if your next real period is missed, extremely light or only lasts for a short amount of time compared to normal then you'll need to get a pregnancy test to give you an answer.Good luck.
