writes: i have been with my boyfriend for nearly 14 months, and we have sex often.. just one problem, it still hurts me if he goes in to far.he wasn't my first, but it feels like he is.he is on the bigger side. but i would have thought i would have go used to it, but i havent.why is this?im getting annoyed because we have to do the same thing, and i want to try other ways, but im too worried its going to hurt.so what can i do? He is hitting your cervix. You can control this in all positions. In missionary move your legs down farther. In doggy tilt your butt down. A cervix is usually between 6-8 inches in so just move around so he cant hit it. Its completely normal but it wont ever stop hurting. I was with my partner for 5 1/2 years and it still hurt if he hit it but I learned how to move so he wouldn't hit it.

reader, anonymous, writes (25 April 2010): Hey, I had the same issue. I told my doctor @ my last physical exam and she said I had a "tilted cervix". Because of this, if your boyfriend is larger or goes in too deep it can be painful. 30% of women actually have a tilted cervix although many do not know about it. It dosent affect fertility or anything, and if you change your position then that could certainly help. My doctor also told me that there are operations to correct the issue if it gets really severe.google "tilted cervix" for more info :)

reader, anonymous, writes (24 April 2010): Yeah I know what you mean Ive been with my bf for a year AND had a baby with him and it still hurts, but the trick to trying new positions is that you kind of just have to do them and bear it a little. At least thats what i do I dont really know much else. I hoped that helped a lil.
