writes:I'm so confused. I guess maybe I should be asking a dr this, but I just wanna kno if I'm bugging or what? I been on the pill for about six mnths now. I had unprotected sex with guy a on dec 6th nd again on dec 13th. He pulled out both times. The thing is, the week before the 6th, I missed two pills but took them when I remembered and ended up bleeding all week. When I had sex, I was still bleeding. But I dnt know if it was my periOd because my period was supposed to come the following tuesday. Now I'm not sure when its supposed to come, and the other day, on the 17th, I had unprotexted sex with guy b and he also pulled out, but I'm scared that he might have not pulled out in time. So when can I take a test? And if I'm pregnant, is it possible that it culd be either guys, since the times were so close together? Can I take a test now or do I still have to wait?

One of them already knows and he was a little understanding about it whereas the other one, that's the one I'm scared to tell. We have been together for over a year and the whole time he suspected I was with other guyd, which I wasn't. The only time I started talking to other guys was when I felt we wasn't going to be together anymore. But idk how hell react to that, so I'm just a little worried. But your definetly right, I should find out first if I even am before I continue worrying muyself. Once I take the test, ill be sure to let you guys know!

 If you are pregnant and the child is conceived, it may be obvious who the father is based on features and appearance. Of course, the father is responsible and you will likely need a paternity test to prove fatherhood and thereby receive assistance for the child and yourself.

reader, anonymous, writes (20 December 2009): They say honesty is the best possibly although not sure how true that is :/ suppose if in in doubt then admiting you have messed up as tactfully as you can to both guys because they both are potential fathers and my opinion is that its not a good idea to give one guy false hope when there could be another baby daddy out there. You could take a paternatity test after the kid is born. Hmmm, although i would get confirmation that you are preganant first and also make a desision as to what you want to do about it e.g. keep, abort, adopt etc. I'm not sure how to tell the fathers if you are preganant - its a difficult place to be but i suppose honesty is best, particularly if you want a chance of keeping current partner - thats my only my opinion.

reader, anonymous, writes (20 December 2009): i'd say get a test - and perhaps some condoms. The pill only protects against preganacy and not STI's etc. It might be worth getting checked either way - even if you are not with child, atleast you'll know you are clean etc. :)

Well, you need to develop some discipline regarding the pills, girl. Nothing wrong with the sex if that's what you want to do, but if you want to avoid unintended pregnancy, then adhere to schedule. Remember that anytime you allow an erect penis into your vagina sans condom, you are being very risky if you messed up with your hormonal birth control. You can test anytime this week, but you're probably okay.
