That can't be normal. I was in so much pain yesterday especially around nightime. I didn't get to sleep til past midnight. I wanted to know if anyone knows anything about this or whether anyone else has experienced something like this. My mom says she thinks I work myself up and cause my own pain, but i don't think that possible to cause one's self that much physical pain. Also i am on the Ocella pill to regulate my periods if that could be part of it.Does anyone know what's causing this? Thanks :)

Keeps me up during the nights too and normally i take some painkillers and try to sleep with a hot water bottle. When i wake up it feels much better, ends up coming back again though. It's completely normal. However i do sugest looking at the side effects about them pills your taking as you hadnt had the pains before. Like everyone else says, if there still as bad next month, go see the doctor and ask about them pills. xxx

Sometimes, I am in so much pain that I can't walk, I have to just lie on my bed, curled up in a ball, with a bowl next to me incase I am sick from the pain. And it can last all day. So yes, other people have this too, it's not just you. I hope that's a bit of a comfort for you!
But really, you shouldn't have to try and cope with this much pain. I would advise seeing your doctor or nurse, and telling them about this. Like kellyxxx said, there are some good painkillers out there, and your doctor might be able to prescribe one for you. Good luck. x

Its probs just period pain.
Some girls have such bad period pain that they phyically can't get out of bed when they are on.
I wouldn't worry about it but if you are really conserned about it, go see a doctor.
Good luck
