Have you ever watched "the fast show"?
That took the piss out of Spanish TV for constantly having topless women bouncing around in thongs for no reason during the weather forecast.
Foreign TV isn't as controlled as ours and so they use ridiculous things like this to sell breakfast cereal.
It's not real! It's basically soft porn!
In real life, NO ONE wears thong bikinis as they are
a) uncomfortable (imagine the sand getting in there!!!!!)
b) they look stupid.
Get yourself a swim suit with those boxer style bottoms. They look gorgeous, and they hide everything that needs hiding.
You don't want a sunburned bum anyway!
Wear as much or as little as you are comfortable with. You'll find that most of the people on the beach are not porn stars, but are overweight middle aged women with skin like leather from too much sun, so you will look amazing next to them anyway.

 Right all the guys on Dear cupid are obviously scared of answering bikini questions. Mostly because they are hormonal teenage boys.
I as a red blooded male in my 20s, enjoy the female form, however, g-string bikinis and that much flesh is too much, a girl in a modest bikini and sarong looks classy and sexy, there is no need for wearing so little on the beach, short shorts and a vest top can look just as good.
Honestly a girl looks her best if she is comfortable with what she is wearing.
Don't ever feel pressured in to wearing something that would make you look and feel ridiculous.

 Sweetie, dont be pressurised into wearing a g-string! Wear a bikini or full costuum that you feel comfortable in. To be honest, unless you have a perfect figure and dont mind all your 'bits' being on show, then by all means.. wear a g-string. But for the rest of us... well we prefer to wear something that is sexy and flattering and does not make us look like hookers!!

 I think its fine if either a) you are a stripper or b) you are in a bikini competition (like this woman you saw on TV).
In real life, not many girls wear g-string bikinis. In fact, it will be very unlikely you will see any women in g-string bikini's on the beach - most women prefer a bikini bottom that actually covers up their bum!
Me personally, I am 21 and have an ok figure, I have an hourglass shape and I dont mind my body although I do have areas I dont like. I would never in a million years wear a g-string on a beach - I think it is tacky and just invites men to stare which I would not feel comfortable with.
In some foreign countries it is normal for women to flaunt their bodies in g-strings however I know that in the UK, g-strings are reserved for prostitues, strippers and "slags/slappers".
The main thing here is that you wear something you are comfortable with - either a bikini bottom that gives you the coverage you need or a swimsuit cut in the leg to flatter you. Having a flattering swimsuit or bikini will make you look sexier and more confident to men than if you were revealing too much flesh in a g-string!
Remember, you dont have to be a sex object like that girl you saw on TV. She clearly loves her body and loves to show it off to men, she will like being looked upon as a sexual object to men. You dont have to be like this - you have more going for you than just the way you look. Love your body but also remember that men are attracted to your personality too - and they will treat you better if you have a bit of class and cover up a little! If you show off too much of your body then they will think you are "easy" and they will use you for sex.
