Scared to be his girlfriend in case it ruins out friendship!

Hey um ima get to the point i'm fifteen and i've known this boy since i was 4.. and since last year when he'd come over we'd kiss but he ad a girl friend and he broke up with his girlfriend and they dispise each other with a passion and since then we've become closer he use to be mean and hateful to me sometimes and now he basically worships the ground i walk on and same goes for i love him so much that he's all i can think about.... and ever since we were little kids our paretns have said we're goin to grow up and get married and everything our parents have said about us has happened and im afraid to try and be his girlfriend and ask him out because if we evr broke idk what would happen to our friendship i really odnt want to ruin that... what should i do...

If you really like this boy then I think you should give it a go. Say to him that you like him alot and want to be his girlfriend but whatever happens between you two you will always be friends. I know it may not always work out like this, but I'm still really good friends with lots of boyfriends I've had. One of them is acctually one of my best friends in the world still, and I dont know what I would so without him. If you are such good friends anyway then this will do no damage to your friendship whatsoever, if anything, it should make it stronger. All the Best, and I hope things work out the way you want. x K x
