I am scared of turning 30++ because that's a new generation altogether. It makes me old in comparison to someone who is 28 years old and living life to the full. Help!

Nothing changes. I was just like you when I was 29. I thought,"oh god. I'll be a 30 year old"

But when it happened I realized I'm still me! Can you believe that?? When you turn 30 you'll still be you! You'll always be in your generation. If you have friends that are now 27, 25, 21 they'll still be your friends.

I think 30 is tough one for a lot of people because they associate the ages 18 to 29 with youth. Well I'm 31. And I act the same way I did when I was 20.I nor you will ever stop being ourselves! And you will never stop experiencing life.

And by the way, if you think it's all over just because you're turning 30. Just remember that Michelangelo was in his early 30's when he painted the Sistine Chapel.

kaylagal agony auntI agree with icelordess that age is just a number. Live your life to the fullest. I'm also sneaking on 30, but I'm not worried about it. It's just another day, another year. I'm going to live my life to the fullest and enjoy it all. And besides, 30 is the new 20..

I'm embracing it and I'm also embracing all the wonderful lessons I've learnt in the 20s and hope I'm wiser and better in the 30s.

Best of luck.

ArmyMedic agony auntWhat? Really? Don't be silly it's not a whole different generation, you are the same generation just a year older, so stop wallowing in self pity and do something you didn't do when you were 20!

I bet there is tons of stuff you wanted to do when you were younger that now with age and wisdom (and more cash) that you can now do.

I'm 30 soon too, I've given up my 12 career to start afresh, I might go to Uni, might take a gap year who knows I'm still young and really not worried!
