writes:There's this girl that i really really like right and my mate said he'd help me with her because I'm quite shy when it comes to relationships. But all of a sudden, he doesn't want anything to do with it and told me shes seeing someone. Then I saw both of them together kissing. i could have killed him there and then and now he keeps bugging me asking why i have been ignoring him. i told him and he denys it all but i saw them with my own eyes and i stayed there to make sure it was her and it definitely was. so now i cant even trust him and feel like i cant confide in anyone as I'm quite shy in talking to anyone about anything. He was the only one its just bottled up inside what can i do..?

Wow, that was pretty low of your mate.
But what this shows you is that being shy and hiding behind your fears just doesn't work.
You need to shape up mentally and start talking to people and learn how to act confidently.
It's not rocket science. Just take a small step and chat to someone you know.
Get some new friends and as you get more confident, you'll be able to talk to girls more too.

reader, anonymous, writes (9 August 2009): It doesn't seem like theres much you can do, hes already kissed her and theres nothing you can do thats gonna change that, you can either start a fight of some kind about it, continue to pursue this girl, or find someone else to try for.Either way if I were you I wouldn't talk to that guy again.
