writes:I am a woman who is 5'2 and i must tell you about my partner that i had. We actually met in a pub quite a few years ago now. I was with my best friends and went up to the bar usually my friends would buy the drinks has it seemed to always take me a lifetime getting served. There were people round me 6'0 easy. Even my friends were taller like 5'8 and 5'9. They both had always called me their little one. If i was in trouble they were always there to help. Well this time in the pub they told me to get the drinks i did say it would take ages but they insisted. So there i was standing next to a guy on a stool. He started chatting while i was there. He even asked if i wanted the stool it may be easier to get a drink. He said that is what he usually does. So off he climbed more like a jump actually. When he stood up that's when we met for the first time our faces were exactly together. He was the same height as me i mean my shoes i had on were only 1 inch high so i didn't even have any extra height. I bought the drinks and noticed my friends were sitting down. So we went over together, my friends were laughing their heads off they couldnt believe we were the same height.We all spent the evening together he even took my tele number and called the next night. We met up and it was just so amazing we went to a different pub and then a club. When we did the last dance at the end of the night it was great cuddling together and having a snog.I still didnt wear heels even though he told me they didnt matter,has most of the people were taller than him anyway. He used to laugh that he was actually the same height has the 13/14 yr olds at the school he worked has a caretaker.All the kids liked him because he was short. He was in the position has me he was the shortest in his familythere were 2 brothers and they were both over 6'0 tall along with his dad and his mum was short also 5'2. So were some of his aunts from his mum's side they were all the same height.Whereas the uncles were tall. When i saw his family at a gathering it was just great though showed me the 2 side of the family the short ones and the tall ones. All the women were short with Danny in with them and the guys were all taller. I then spotted his nan, she was just brilliant she told me stories of when she grew up and struggling with her height she was very old now and shrunk quite abit she was 5'0 but started out exactly like us 5'2. Danny used to say she was the head of the shorties which she liked. She said she loved the family gatherings especially meeting all the rest of the shorties has she put it. I did use to talk to the taller guys but some were very tall. When we got married we were just great in the church i still didnt wear heels has i liked it just the way we were. Being short really helped us especially in the pics. We then said can we have pics of the shorties and the tall guys. That was funny. The best pic was the shorties which we have framed. Even though i was the shortest out of my sisters and brother it didn't matter. My 2 aunts and my granmother and grandad were also in the shorties picture. With Danny nan being a fraction shorter. She even had dances with all the short people and some of the tall guys. She did say that maybe we should just have a yearly gathering just for the short people which we do alot. It is just nice to be able to spend time with people our height and i am very greatful to have found Danny he said it would have felt like looking for a needle in a haystack when we are with his tall relatives.I love being with Danny he is just the right height well for both of us really. His nan says we are a match made in heaven and she can't believe we found each other. We can stand up and we look like bookend that is the nickname by his 2 tall brothers they always say here come the bookends lol. We just love to stand together and cuddle like mad we can both reach each others lips to kiss and best of all we are both shrinking with age. So least we can look to this happending together. Danny usually laughs and says that maybe he could be a bit taller as women shrink quicker than men. So far i can't notice anything as we are still the same heightTHANK YOU

I cant relate but im the smallest in my family at 5'11 but im the only person smaller than 6 ft in my family (including the women)only 1 inch to grow fingers crossed i'll make it
