Ruined repeat

Question - (1 August 2023) 0 Answers - (Newest, )
A female United States age 13-15, anonymous writes:

My parents completely ruined my life and it's not even school yet. There were some kids I'm going to high school with who were going to have a party and somehow my parents heard about it. I did too but I didn't tell them. I wasn't invited anyway and even if I was my parents would of made it impossible since they always follow my friends and me around anyway.

So dad heard about this kid who's parents are lawyers and went on a cruise and left him alone for the weekend since he's 16. His little brother is 13 and in the grade below me. So they had a party out in their real nice neighborhood and they weren't loud just a lot of cars. Dad actualy drove out here and knocked on the door and they yelled to come in so when he did they all thought he was a cop at first. Then someone said he was my dad and told people who I was. He said he wasn't leaving at all until they called the cops themselves. It broke up the party obviously but Dad basically ruined any friendships I could have because I keep getting hated on online and everyone's being really mean

He said he did that to show me who not to hang out with and because he knew some of my friends were going to be there. My friends are mad at me because now they're in trouble with their parents and it wasn't even my fault!

What do I do?
