writes: Hey, basically there are three problems in my relationship with my girlfriend at the moment. 1) Her friends don't accept me because I fingered her before she was ready although she led me on to do it and they are now making it very hard for us to be together, 2) her parents dislike me because they saw us holding hands when I met them and 3) she is a protestant Christian and I am non-religious so that is getting in the way a bit. Any advice would be much appreciated as we really love each other and want it to work

reader, anonymous, writes (27 February 2011): I didn't actually pressurise her for it, I was under the misunderstanding that she wanted me to do what I did (she even asked me to eariler that day) but afterwards said she wasn't ready. Some of her friends have even made death threats to me because I still see her although I don't believe they'll carry them out as they are very good protestant Christians so maybe going to church with her is a good idea.

Stop pressuring her for sex, treat her as excellent as you can, get to know her parents, and start going to church with her and the rest should fall into line.
